Hemp vs. Marijuana

Both hemp and marijuana are plants containing medicinal cannabinoid compounds such as CBD. But they are vastly different. The primary difference between them is that marijuana contains high levels of the psychoactive cannabinoid, THC (5% —35%), in the resinous glands of the flowers and leaves while hemp contains zero or negligible amounts of THC (<0.3% by federal standards). Luckily, the hemp plant also contains a full spectrum of non-psychoactive cannabinoids and terpenes that can be extracted for medicinal use.

Non-Psychoactive

The Hemp Extract we provide is non-psychoactive. It does NOT contain the cannabinoid THC, so it will NOT get you high. The blend contains a complete profile of naturally occurring medicinal cannabinoids and terpenes. It is extracted from hemp that has been cultivated and manufactured legally from seed to sale in fully vertically integrated farms in Colorado, USA.

Effects

Each person has their own unique relationship with the hemp plant and its cannabinoids. When using a non-psychoactive cannabinoid extract, most people report simply feeling calm and relaxed. (Many of THC’s adverse effects such as paranoia, short-term memory loss, and cognitive impairment have been found to be reduced or eliminated by supplementing with a hemp extract.)
